Friday Favourites!

Well, I think it’s safe to say we all survived Snowmaggedon in Ottawa. Thankfully, Spring is just 29 days away!

Here is what I’m loving this week:

1- Turns out I’ve been washing my hair wrong all these years…

2- I like this article about wine etiquette rules at restaurants.

3- Looks like off-the-shoulder tops will be all the rage this summer. I am loving this one, and also this one (available at this great local shop!)

4- Another local store in my neighbourhood is having a massive clearance event, I’m talking 60-90% off incredible designer pieces. Details here!

5- I’ll be doing a big beauty post next week, but if you’re looking for the BEST eyebrow pencil, I found it here (ignore the price, it’s much less expensive in stores)

Friday Favourites!

Happy Super Bowl weekend everyone! I’m a HUGE Broncos fan, so I will be cheering my little heart out!

In the mean time, here is what I’m loving this week:

1- BEST.NEWS.EVER. (not so much for my wallet)

2- Just picked up this sweater for $10. Seriously. And I bought it two sizes bigger than I needed, I find sweaters look more expensive when they are a bit oversized.

3- I received this foundation to review and my first impression is that it might be a new favourite! But I’ll do a full review of new beauty products soon (good and bad!).

4- I heard that Birch Box, the beauty subscription service, is no longer shipping to Canada (stupid dollar). But as I’ve mentioned, I have been loving my IPSY Glam Bag, so if you have $15 to spare each month, give it a try! Details here.

5- After years of buying flats that get thrown away after a few months, I think it’s time to invest in a good pair. I’ve heard amazing things about this Canadian Company (I’d go for this model)

Happy Friday!

I don’t want to jinx it but I am loving this mild winter! We are off to the cottage with friends but before I leave, here is what I’m loving this week:

1- This is my ABSOLUTE favourite thing this week by far. Two of my favourite shops, viens avec moi, and Alfred & Co., are having a huge sale all weekend. I’m talking 50-70% off people. This is a run, don’t walk situation! Details here and here!

2- I thought this was a great article about life changing style hacks, written by one of my favourite bloggers.

3-One of my closest friends told me that this cream has been a life-saver with her skin this winter. I can’t wait to try it out!

4-Road Trip, one of Ottawa’s greatest clothing stores, is carrying this great brand, a great addition to the city! I think I might pick up this skirt from my trips to warmer weather.

5- Looking for some new Instagram accounts to follow? This is a great list!

Friday Favourites!

The first week back to work after the holidays is the worst, am  I right?

Here are 5 things that I’m loving this week:

1- This is one of my favourite articles about fashion that I’ve read in a long time. I agree with everything she says!

2- This is my new favourite blush, and it’s under $10. So far, I’ve only found it at The Real Canadian Superstore in Ottawa. FYI : the all-time best, most flattering colour is Luminoso. You’ll love it, trust me!

3- I bought this sweater in a bunch of different colours, because it’s on sale for $23 at Nordstrom (different colours than what you see online). I bought it one size bigger than I need and it’s the coziest sweater I own!

4- The most Instagrammed beauty products of 2015 (I’ve only tried 4 of them, need to catch up!)

5- My new year’s resolution is to drink more water, so I carry this around with me everywhere I go! it’s sold out, but I love this one too!
